Challenges

Aneeta Technopack faced the challenge of enhancing the precision and efficiency of its outdated laminate tube header. The existing manual production processes were slow and prone to inconsistencies, resulting in defects and increased operational costs. To address this, the company required an automated solution to retrofit the old header with modern technology, aiming for improved efficiency, greater precision, and reduced downtime.

Solutions

A servo motor-based solution was implemented to upgrade the outdated header. Key features include:

  • The system automates the entire process, from tube body input to the precise molding of the donut, ensuring high-quality attachments and eliminating manual errors.
  • Five servo motors are controlled by a motion controller, ensuring efficient production and consistent high-quality results.
  • An HMI (Human-Machine Interface) allows operators full control and real-time monitoring of the production process, enabling quick adjustments and optimizing operational efficiency.

Hardware

  • HMI
  • Motion Controller
  • Control Panel

Software

    Results

    • Enhanced Production Efficiency: Automation significantly improved the speed of production, reducing manual labor and increasing overall output.
    • Improved Quality Control: The servo motor systems reduced defects, ensuring that each donut was attached with accuracy and consistency.
    • Scalable System: The solution is easily scalable, enabling Aneeta Technopack to handle increased production volumes as demand grows, without requiring significant changes to the system.
    • Advanced Monitoring and Control: The integration of HMI and motion controllers enabled real-time monitoring, allowing operators to track performance, optimize production, and respond quickly to any issues.
    • Reduced Costs and Downtime: Automation reduced the need for manual intervention, minimizing downtime and operational costs.
