Project Summary
This project introduces a real-time display and monitoring system specifically designed for Fire Warden (FA) and Fire Fighter (FF) trained employees at the plant.
It displays essential personnel information on a large screen, improving visibility and accessibility in case of emergencies.
When a trained employee punches in (e.g.,attendance system), their details automatically appear on the display, provided their certification is valid.
Upon punching out, their information is removed from the display in real time.
This system ensures that only certified, available FA/FF personnel are visible for quick contact in case of an emergency.
Challenges
The company lacked a real-time system to identify on-site FA/FF trained personnel.
In case of an emergency, locating trained responders was time-consuming and inefficient.
There was also no automatic method to validate whether their certification was up to date or to manage their availability status based on presence in the plant.
Solutions
ICES developed a smart personnel display system that integrates real-time data logging with automatic validation of training status.
Key features include:
- Automatic display of FA/FF trained personnel upon valid punch-in.
- Instant removal of personnel details after punch-out.
- Certification expiry check linked to the MySQL database to ensure only valid-trained staff are shown.
